Due to the individuality of each piece using your own horse hair we do not currently offer a buy now function.
Each piece is made to your individual requirements so please print the order form and send in with your horse’s hair.

Collecting hair from your horse’s tail.

Wash your horse’s tail in a mild shampoo (please do not condition or use any sprays) and allow to dry well.
Brush out the tail to remove all knots and debris.
Locate the thickness of tail hair required for the piece you would like to order (where the hair is longest near the bottom of the dock bone ) and using a plaiting or elastic band, band the required amount of hair. Alternatively you can cut the required amount of hair from the tail and then wash the hair. Please make sure the hair is thoroughly dry before placing in the bag.
Using a sharp pair of scissors and being very careful, cut the hair between the band and the dock.
Loosely coil the hair into a bag labelled with your horses name and place in an envelope along with your order form to post.
